Au Coeur des Vignes

Surrounded by vines and countryside views, Au Coeurs des Vignes is set in the Fronsac wine area. The property is light and airy, sleeping 4 in two generous-sized bedrooms. With the open-plan kitchen/dining/living area, the whole property is around 80m². In addition to the lovely enclosed swimming pool area, there is a private west-facing terrace from which you can enjoy the views over the vineyards whilst watching the sun go down.

The space

You enter the property from a large covered entrance porch into the airy open-plan kitchen/dining/sitting area. The kitchen contains everything you would expect, including a generous fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and Nespresso coffee  machine. The indoor dining area has an extendable table which comfortably seats 4 people. The sitting area with sofa and armchairs also has a 42" flat screen TV. The ground floor bedroom has a large double bed, hanging space, a chest-of-drawers, and space for a travel cot. Accessed via a spiral staircase, the second, very large bedroom has two single beds, a large wardrobe, and wall-mounted TV. The bathroom with walk-in shower is on the ground floor next to the separate WC. The sitting/dining area has two sets of French doors opening onto the private covered terrace, making for a very light space. The terrace has a dining table and chairs for six people and is fitted with a sun awning.
The 10x5m swimming pool is surrounded by greenery and enclosed by hedging and a fence. There is a small covered "bar" area with a drinks fridge and sink as well as sun loungers. Pool towels are available for guests' use.

Guest access

Set at the end of a short track, the property adjoins the owners' accommodation but has its own entrance, own private terrace and ample driveway parking. The pool area is available during warm months (usually from May to end of September). The pool is for your private use unless the owners are on site, and then they will only use it in your absence. Please observe the pool rules for your comfort and safety.

There is a communal built-in wood/charcoal BBQ and a portable charcoal BBQ .

Keys can be obtained from a lockbox. If we are not on site, we are available by email or text message to help at any time, but we also have a wonderful couple living locally who take care of the property and who can provide assistance if needed.

Other things to note

*There is a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and changing mat available on request. We are happy to host 4 guests plus a  baby/toddler (if they sleep in a travel cot). 
* Please enquire about bringing well-behaved pets but note that there is no fenced-in garden.

* From October to May please contact us for flexible check-in days and short stays.

* Payment accepted in Euros or Pounds Sterling (£).

NB Due to the first floor being accessed via a spiral staircase, anyone with reduced mobility is advised to stay in the ground floor bedroom.
